Want to make your own wine? You pick grapes event starting in September

Tempranillo is a black grape variety widely grown to make full-bodied red wines in its native Spain. Its name is the diminutive of the Spanish temprano, meaning "early". This is a reference to the fact that this grape ripens several weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes. Tempranillo can be characterized as either a medium- to full-bodied, with red fruit characteristics. If you've never tried Tempranillo before, you may find it has a similar taste profile to both Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Tempranillo is considered a very dry red wine. Hailing from Spain, this full-bodied red is high in tannins, high in acidity, and boasts delicious notes of dried figs, cherries, and tobacco.

Our Tempranillo grapes are grown organically. They’ll be ready for harvest early in September. You pick your own grapes, bring your own bucket and pruning shears.

Starting September 16th 10-4 pm Fridays and Saturday $2 per lbs. If you do not want to pick $3 per lb.
